Carrie Miller

Acting Director

Carrie joined HFLA in February 2021 as Assistant Director. She has a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University in and a Masters in Nonprofit Management from the Mandel Center of Nonprofit Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Carrie has a diverse background in the nonprofit sector. After serving as a Corps Member for City Year Cleveland, she joined the staff and helped launch a City Year site in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. After returning to Cleveland in 2008, she served as Program Director at The City Club of Cleveland helping to plan and implement a diverse schedule of programs and speakers from around the globe.

After two years at Foundation Center (now part of Candid) developing and delivering trainings across the Northeast, Carrie joined the staff of Ohio City Incorporated in 2016, guiding all community engagement, programming, and outreach efforts in the neighborhood.

Carrie is excited to bring her experience to such a great mission and looks forward to connecting with the community to share the story of HFLA of Northeast Ohio.
